Animation

This year we are learning how to make stop motion animations using our ipads. To begin with we have focused on capturing frames (still photographs) and sequencing them to create moving images. We have learnt that we should keep the ipad still, find a background that doesn’t move, move the figures and objects a little at a time. We have created some short animations to begin practising these skills.

This is Linda and Simra’s stop motion animation. They created it using Lego and an app called myCreate. Stop motion can be very hard but they managed to do an excellent job.

This animation by Waleed, Arslan and Junaid is called ‘Space Fights’.

This is Zoya and Fatima’s animation. They used space figures, items from our small world resources and they also made their own background to use in their stop motion.

This stop motion animation is by Katie and Ajwa.

This stop motion animation is by Danial and Aahil.

This video is entitled ‘The Dawn of Time’ and it is by Junaid and Ehsan.
